One of THOSE Days

My plan for today was all laid out. I would get the little one off to school, come home, shower, eat, do my shopping and errands, return and get some much needed work done. This sounds simple enough, right? Simple, that is until I get out of bed and realize I seem to have injured a very important part of my anatomy yesterday when exercising. As I attempted to take a step with my left foot, an odd pain in the left region of my groin tells me that's not a good idea. Yes, ladies and gentlemen, I have sprained my who ha!

Needless to say, my errands went a little slower than I planned. I still managed to get them done. Then when I came out of the office supply store, a nice older lady was standing next to may car and asked if it was mine. Since I was placing my bags in it at the time it was a pretty safe assumption, but I let it slide. She pointed out a piece of wire sticking out of my back tire. Wonderful! Lucky for me I had bought a warranty and it could be fixed without cost. All I had to do was drive to the mall, hope the store wasn't packed and they could get me in  and out before time to pick the little one up from school. I know I was asking a lot...Lucky me; it was only a forty-five minute wait. Unlucky for my bank account, my favorite kids store had a huge clearance sale and my daughter needs short sleeved shirts. And my who ha still hurts which means the walking was not so fun. I was literally walking through the mall like I've been attacked. If someone had decided to chase me, I'd be in trouble. My right leg can move much faster than my left and I'd be running around in circles!

A few days ago it was very warm and sunny out so I decided to spend the day in the backyard. This was also where I chose to do my exercise routine which contains lunges while holding and twisting with an eight pound medicine ball. I lunged into a slightly uneven spot and twisted my left leg. It didn't hurt until the next morning. Luckily its all better now.
