Things I Miss About the South
Perhaps it is a little premature to make this list before I return but I have discovered a few things I miss a great deal about living in the south. Of course, the culture shock that is just now starting to wear off has possibly hindered this list a bit... These are in no specific order.
1. Boiled peanuts
2. Georgia peaches (actual peaches not girls who call themselves that)
3. Hot summer days
4. Warm summer nights
5. Southern men
6. Watermelons (they are just better grown here)
7. Lakes with water warm as bath water
8. Pecan trees
9. Oak trees
10. That warm fuzzy feeling that doesn't feel quite like home but feels like an old familiar blanket.
11. Friends
I may do another one of these later.
